For those using LabView as a development tool, BITX for Automation comes with a BITX-LabView-VI universal interface. This VI (Virtual Instrument) will make sure that any application developed with LabView can communicate directly with an external BITX infrastructure, so that field data can be made available to enterprise backend systems. In particular, the BITX-LabVIEW-VI will add to any application developed using the LabView environment, the capability of long range wireless communications and a direct link to BITX for Automation, turning a stand-alone system into an “M2M application”.
Once field devices or complex systems are connected to the BITX framework, it will be easy to take advantage of all features provided by the BITX-Middleware Core and integrate remote data into enterprise systems or develop a custom remote monitoring application.
